Civil disputes are decided long before final arguments. They turn on how the plaint is framed, on whether the correct interim order is obtained in the opening days, and on whether the documents relied upon survive cross examination.

Where a matter can be closed by a properly drafted legal notice, we try that before spending your money on a trial.

Filing and interim relief
The plaint is instituted together with the interim application it requires. A stay or injunction obtained early frequently settles the case.

Trial
Issues are framed, evidence is led, and witnesses are cross-examined. We prepare you personally before you enter the box.

Judgment, execution or appeal
A decree is only useful once executed. We see the matter through execution, or take it up in appeal.
Civil Litigation: common questions
How long does a civil suit take in Karachi?
It depends on the forum and the relief. A summary suit under Order XXXVII can conclude in months; a contested title suit with multiple witnesses commonly runs for years. We give you a realistic range at the first meeting rather than an optimistic one.
Can I get a stay order on the first date?
Sometimes. Where the plaint discloses a strong prima facie case and a real risk of irreparable loss, the Court can grant an ad-interim order at the first hearing. It is never guaranteed, and it is always liable to be recalled after the other side is heard.
What documents should I bring?
Everything you have, including the documents that hurt you. Title documents, agreements, receipts, notices, WhatsApp and email records, and any court papers already served on you.
